A missing tooth deserves a plan, not a rush. At Alder & Oak you see the 3D scan, the phased plan and the estimate in writing first, and the same small team carries you from extraction to crown.
How we think about it
A missing tooth is not a race. It is a plan. We scan first, explain every step in plain words, put each phase and its estimate in writing, and only then do we place a single implant.
The implant path
An exam and a 3D scan map your bone, gum and neighbouring teeth. You leave with options and a written, phased plan, not a booking.
With the area numbed, a small titanium post is placed in the jawbone where the root used to be. Many people go home the same day.
Over weeks to months the bone bonds to the implant, ring by ring, like growth in a tree. We check progress and keep you comfortable.
A small connector is fitted to the implant so the crown has something to hold. We scan for the exact shape of your bite.
A porcelain crown, matched to your teeth, is fitted and adjusted. Then maintenance visits keep the gum around it healthy.

The studio
Daylight from every side, oak underfoot and young trees outside the glass. We built the studio to feel calm because people who are planning an implant are usually carrying some worry, and a quiet room helps them ask the questions that matter.
Three treatment rooms, a consult room with a round table, and no countdown clocks on the wall. We would rather you take the plan home and decide in your own time.

A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone that acts as the root of a replacement tooth. A connector called an abutment sits on top of it, and a porcelain crown is fitted to the abutment. Together they replace the root and the tooth.
Many adults are, if they have healthy gums and enough bone. Your exam and 3D scan show what is there, and we explain what would need to change first if something is not ready. Results vary from person to person.
Usually several months from the first visit to the final crown, because the bone needs time to bond with the implant. The exact timeline depends on your bone, any extraction or graft, and how you heal. Your written plan shows the expected dates.
The area is numbed, so you feel pressure rather than pain. Soreness afterwards is common and is usually managed with ordinary pain relief taken as directed. We tell you what to expect before the day.
The scan shows this before any decision. Simple socket grafts can be part of an extraction here. Complex grafts and sinus work are referred to an oral surgeon, and your plan says so up front.
We do not list prices on this site, because every plan differs. After the consultation you get a written estimate for each phase. Some plans cover part of the extraction or crown, we work with most major PPO plans, and third-party financing is available.

An implant consultation is an exam, a 3D scan and a conversation. You leave with a written, phased plan and an estimate. Nothing is decided that day.
